Introducing John Michael
“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep...My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand", John 10:14-15, 27-28. When speaking with Allyson and Bren about their inspiration behind John Michael's nursery, it came down to these verses from the Gospel of John. Allyson said that her and her husband's prayer is that John Michael will know Jesus' voice from an early age and follow him as the Good Shepherd. I am a practicing Catholic, so hearing the thought and prayer that went into the shaping of John Michael's nursery was truly amazing. Allyson and Bren's deep love for their son and for the Lord was so evident and so inspiring.
Allyson and I met during Connect Mobile, so when she reached out about doing her newborn pictures I was elated and honored. Allyson and Bren are some of the most wonderful people I have ever met. They have the kindest, most genuine souls and will be absolutely amazing parents. Congratulations, Allyson and Bren, and welcome to the world, John Michael!
